Civilian Marksmanship Program

The Bay Ridge Rod and Gun Club sponsors a CMP shoot on, either the first or second Saturday of each month except July and August. See the date chart below

CMP shoots are open to children aged 12 to 17. The child's parent or guardian MUST attend the first time a child shoots,in to sign the appropriate authorization.

New students and parent will attend a 1 hour class consisting of lectures, demonstration of rifle components, rifle shooting fundamentals firearm safety, and videos, prior to shooting.

Attendees will shoot a 22 single shot rifles, under close supervision.
